An Example of Garbage Reporting...

Create a false narrative, then when it easily gets disproved, make it look like you affected the change,

According to the Casper Star Tribune, 651 fans make the difference between an engaged, interested fanbase and a lackluster, unsupportive fanbase.

Last week, after the Pokes destroyed Texas A&M Commerce (???) in front of a crowd of 3953, the CST dutifully parroted Coach Linder calling out fans for their lack of homage to the cause, and the CST dutifully parroted the complaints of coach Linder, who seemed upset that the Poke fanbase wasn't respecting his 3-5 team more.

Today, after the Pokes smoked an outmatched Louisiana Tech squad bolstered by an additional, hyper-engaged 651 fans (4604 total attendance) in the house, emotions and attitudes have drastically shifted:

LARAMIE – Jeff Linder’s message was received loud and clear.
With an emphasis on the loud part.
Wyoming played its best game of the season during a 92-65 victory over Louisiana Tech in front of an engaged crowd of 4,604 on Saturday night at the Arena-Auditorium.
After Tuesday’s win over Texas A&M Commerce, Linder called out for the UW fan base for a lack of energy and support during the team's early-season struggles.
"The response by the fans was tremendous. That’s what makes Wyoming a special place when you can feel the energy in there," Linder said. "You could feel the energy back in there tonight. That was the first time all year I’ve felt that energy and that energy allowed us to beat a very good team."

Yep, we took our our a$$-chewing to heart and implored 651 more fans to show up and provide....electricity. Good to know that 651 fans makes all the difference between fan disrespect/indifference and fan engagement.

Or maybe it helps when the three-ball goes in at a 40% rate.
