Gonzaga to the BIG 12.....

This appears to be the BIG 12's next focus and that is building an income stream from the basketball programs and bringing in Gonzaga is a big key in this. From reports they are finalizing details at this point. As I pointed out earlier, Gonzaga wanted out of the WCC BADLY! There was a problem because the BIG 12 wanted to bring in UCON, but the BIG 12 didn't want UCON's football program and UCON refused to drop football, so that kind of went nowhere.

I had hoped if we could have moved fast enough that with the 2 PAC schools that maybe Gonzaga could be lured to stay closer to home, but with how everything that is being dragged out in the PAC division and the money that the BIG 12 can offer, that Gonzaga will not be coming along with the MWC and the PAC2. Frankly I knew it was a stretch, but apparently it has been in Gonzaga's AD's mind that the earlier communication with the BIG 12 should be reawakened now that there has been some cooling off since the football realignment.

Shout out to T Gipson

Man, this guy continues to play high-level football year after year. Amazing for an undrafted free agent to be in his 11th NFL season and just picked off his 33rd pass. I would say he is the most successful NFL player the Cowboys have put in the NFL. Allen is up there and Novacek with his 3 rings are impressive but Jay didn't have the longevity or stats (different NFL era). But Gipson doesn't get the credit he deserves. It's a shame he is not in Cowboy of HOF.

Who killed the PAC12?

John Canazano had an in depth report that the Utah President asked an economic professor to evaluate the worth of a new at market
tv deal. He came back with 50 million per school. He took that to the PAC12 commish who used it to renegotiate after ESPN already walked away at 30 million. Apparently some of the Presidents didn’t know what was going, some didn’t care, and some agreed with the 50 million.
