At any level high school, college, pros... the QB is in charge you have to know the situation at every moment during the game! here's the scenario: 9 seconds on the clock no timeouts, our QB elects to not throw the ball into the end zone ok fine, great actually he completed a pass to convert the 1st down everyone is running up to the line of scrimmage, there is a big 1 second on the scoreboard clock (the QB has to know it takes at least 1 second to run any play) so what does our QB do spikes the ball game over, so here's the scenario: everyone runs up to the line of scrimmage the ball is snapped the QB quickly fakes the spikes rolls slightly to the right lofts the ball into the end zone to a streaking WR say the 6'6 J.Scott, he goes up makes the catch touchdown Cowboys we win game over or say he goes up the ball is knocked away by the defender we lose ok but at least we gave it a shot! Same thing with our DB when they completed a 38 yard TD, at least commit pass interference but don't let him catch the ball it's a 15 yard penalty but not a TD live to play another down. We need to get smarter to get better know the game!
