Yesterday, I was a very lucky man. I got to see our Cowboys play live, the first time in over twenty years! While I almost had a heart attack before the end of the game, it was truly an amazing experience for me and my five friends from New Hampshire. However, the game paled compared to what happened during the tailgating. My friends got to experience Poke fans and “the Cowboy way”. They were blown away by the friendliness and genuine warmth of all the fans that they met. Jeff (DC Poke) certainly left a very positive impression on them. Thanks again Jeff for the parking pass! They kept asking me if everyone from home was like that. I just told them that that is the way we do things back home. One of my friends commented that if people treated people the way that Poke fans do, the world would be a helluva better place. Poke fans are very unique, there are none other like them. I’m blessed and so very proud to be a Poke! Thanks to all of you — you do it up right! Go Pokes!
