Cowboy Cagers Open Homestand Against Air Force on Tuesday

Pokes have three home games remaining


LARAMIE, Wyo. (Feb. 16, 2025) – The Wyoming Cowboy cagers open a two-game homestand on Tuesday hosting Front Range foe Air Force at 6:30 p.m. in the Arena-Auditorium in a contest on the Mountain West Network. It marks the 129th meeting between the two schools.

Fans can watch and listen to the contest, as well as follow stats on GoWyo.com. The game will be broadcast live on radio over the 26 affiliate stations of the Cowboy Sports Network, as Keith Kelly will be on the call alongside Kevin McKinney.



About The Teams

Wyoming heads into Tuesday’s contest with a 11-15 overall record and a 4-11 mark in conference play after falling at Colorado State on Saturday. The Pokes are shooting 44.3 percent from the field with the opposition shooting 44.2 percent. Wyoming is shooting 35.1 percent from behind the arc on the season and 36.6 percent in conference play to rank third in the conference. Wyoming’s bench adds 24.2 points per game to rank third in the conference.



The Falcons head to Laramie with a 3-22 overall record and a 0-14 mark in conference play, as the Falcons enjoyed a bye this past weekend. Air Force is averaging 62.4 points per game and are allowing 72.6 per night. The Falcons are shooting 42.3 percent from the field and knock down eight three pointers per night. Opponents are shooting 47.8 percent from the field and 37.1 percent from behind the arc.



About The Players

The Cowboys are led by Obi Agbim at 17.7 points per game for fourth in the conference. He is shooting 45.9 percent from behind the arc to lead the league and rank fifth in the nation. He leads the team with 3.3 assists per game to rank No. 12 in the MW. Jordan Nesbitt added his eighth double-double of the season against Fresno State to rank third in the MW and No. 39 in the nation. He adds 8.6 points per game and seven rebounds per night to lead the team and rank fifth in the MW. Kobe Newton adds 7.7 points per game and has made 39 threes for the season. Dontaie Allen adds 7.5 points per game and is second on the team at 9.9 points per game in conference play.



Air Force is led in scoring by Ethan Taylor at 14.9 points per game. One of the top shooters in the conference, he has connected on 82 three-pointers this season and is shooting 39.8 percent from behind the arc. Luke Kearney adds 9.2 points per game



About The Series

The Cowboys and Falcons will meet for the 129th time on Tuesday. Wyoming is 85-43 all-time against the Falcons and are 43-17 in Laramie. Wyoming took the first contest on the road 70-65 and January 4.
