LARAMIE, Wyo. (Dec. 8, 2024) – The Wyoming Cowboys continue their road swing on Tuesday with a trip to South Dakota on Tuesday. The first meeting between the two schools since 2013 is slated for a 6 p.m. start. Fans can purchase a stream of the contest on MidcoSportsPlus.
Fans can listen to the contest, as well as follow stats on GoWyo.com. The game will be broadcast live on radio over the 26 affiliate stations of the Cowboy Sports Network, as Keith Kelly will be on the call alongside Kevin McKinney.

Wyoming heads into the contest with a 5-3 overall record and a 0-1 mark in conference play after falling on the road at Utah State last Wednesday 70-67. The Pokes are averaging 73.6 point per night and are allowing 72.9 points per game. UW is shooting 45.5 percent from the field and allowing opponents to shoot 41.6 percent, which ranks third in the conference. Wyoming has shot 50 percent or better in four contests this season. UW leads the MW in rebounds per game this season at 41.1 and are +8.1 per game this season.
The Coyotes enter the contest with a 7-4 overall record after falling on the road at Northern Arizona by a score of 95-82 on Saturday. One of the top offenses in the nation, USD adds 87.3 points per game and are allowing 78.5 per game. South Dakota shoots 46.5 percent from the field and are allowing opponents to shoot 44.4 percent. The Coyotes hit nine threes per game and grab 38 rebounds per game.

The Cowboys are led in scoring by Obi Agbim at 18.1 points per game to rank third in the conference. He also leads the team with 3.9 assists per game and recorded a career-high 10 at Utah State for his first career double-double. Jordan Nesbitt adds 11 points per night and leads the team and ranks first in the MW adding 10.8 rebound per game. Kobe Newton adds 11 points per contest and is second on the team in assists with 15 on the season. He knocked down a career-high five three pointers at Utah State.
South Dakota is led in scoring by Isaac Bruns at 14.1 points per game. He is shooting 49 percent from the field. Chase Forte adds 13.7 points per game and leads the team with 36 assists. Kaleb Stewart adds 10.2 points per game for the season and has hit 19 three pointers.

The Cowboys and Coyotes will meet for the 11th time on Tuesday and first time since 2013. Wyoming is 8-2 against South Dakota all-time in a series that dates back to 1960. UW is 0-1 all-time on the road against the Coyotes.
