If ever there was a classic ‘trap’ game it was CSU-USU today. I just saw the highlight of the last play. Amazing how four inches has such an impact on the outcome of a football game.
USU ‘didn’t have to win’. Next week determines the Mtn Div. Today was the Sheep ‘Bowl game’.
The ending was amazing. From Victory to Defeat. In all honesty I’d have thrown my helmet too if I thought I’d caught the winning TD pass on the last play of the game only to find out I stepped out of bound by the width of my shoe.
When we get upset about how many and how long reviews take, we should remember this game.
Video review while often painful is an awesome thing. It’s fair.
USU is a very fortunate football team. I have no idea how the Sheep D held the Aggies to 29 points but they did.
Since the Pokes have no chance I’m all about USU taking down BSU and the West winner. The only bad thing is they own the ‘Rifle’ until next year.
