NCAA DI Council votes to shorten transfer windows
The NCAA's Division I Council has voted to shorten the transfer portal windows for football as well as men's and women's basketball, and in all sports, players will continue to get an additional 30-day transfer window in the event of a coaching change.
More changes coming. I can’t say going to a 105 player football scholarship limit from 85 will do anything but weaken our ability to remain competitive nationally. The next six years will be interesting to see how it all shakes out as we approach 2031-2032.
