Wyoming continued their string of commitments when Memphis, Tennessee tight end or wide receiver Grant Lewis said he committed to the Cowboys on Tuesday.
The 6-foot-5 and 225 pound prospect from Station High School is the fourth tight end to either verbal or sign with the Pokes since Craig Bohl was hired as head coach in December.
Bohl is changing the offense to a more pro-style setup and the Pokes lack tight ends in the program coming from a spread offense.
"After much thought and prayers, I have decided to commit and play football for the University of Wyoming. I'm a Cowboy," said Lewis via Twitter Tuesday night.
The Cowboys have Arizona Western Community College tight end Jacob Hollister already signed and on campus participating in the offseason conditioning program, while Brinkley Jolly from North High in Liberty Mo. and Tyree Mayfield of Central High in St. Joseph, Mo. committed in the last week.
Lewis claims a 4.76 forty-yard dash and looks have excellent hands, though not playing in a passing offense with eight catches for 95 yards and two touchdowns during his senior season.
Wyoming now has 16 commitments and three signees for their 2014 class. It appears UW staff could sign two or three more players before national signing day on February 5th.
