SEC Commissioner Sankey said that THINGS WILL CHANGE as far as the postseason playoff picture is concerned. He actually was reported as saying, it needed to be bold letters....so there you go.
The ACC guys are in a heck of situation, Florida State is saying that they will leave if they don't get a larger portion of the pie! Stanford and Cal want in but some have blocked them.
The main issue that brought this about was the collapse of the PAC 12, and that they would no longer be a P5 conference. Guys, there is no way that the PAC 4 will be a P5 conference even if they bring some teams from the MWC and some from the AAC. It ain't happening, put a fork in it, it is done, this thing has been run over by a thousand cars and is DOA....the PAC (whatever) will not be a P5 conference until and if or when the big west coast teams come back.
I am not having good feelings about how the postseason playoffs will go if the SEC and BIG 10 get their way....the Big 12 and the ACC will be included but they won't carry the biggest sticks at the table. This just might be the issue that will eventually draw all of the big 4 out of the NCAA and be the big change. When TV contracts come up again in these conferences, there will be a lot of talk about kicking the NCAA out of the whole thing.
