Seems to me the MWC is crumbling like a cheap tent in a wind storm. Since the big three left we haven't had much to brag about and then the NCAA ruling on more bennies to athletes. Would Wyoming jump at the chance to go to the BIG 12 if offered be stupid if they didn't. Never happen though no other team would want to come to 7220 ft on a continuous basis.Guaranteed if any one of the teams that went to the BIG 12 their fan base would increase significantly with the draw of those teams to play at their home.
I think we have worn out the welcome to 7220 ft how is your oxygen.. How about welcome to Laramie WY our team is a lot better than yours and we are going to kick the snot out of you. Teams come here and we beat them by their running out of air and we think we have really accomplished something until we get to a neutral court and we an't beat the Division II schools. Well I guess we can't beat them at 7220 feet either.
We spend millions of dollars of tax payer money to keep a sports program going at this level with no return on investment.
High Altitude Sports center what is the ROI there. Attract more quality athletes to our program not likely.
Wish it were different but you can put lipstick on a pig...... I was born and raised in Wyoming and Wyoming sports but I am damn sick and tired of losing especially paying the price for seating and tickets.
Just venting probably renew my CJC and all season tickets.
