My support of UW has centered on the Engineering College and Athletics in that order, so my view of the new President is wait and see. If some of you knew the current state of the Engineering College you would be extremely concerned in terms of programs and facilities. We finally have a new permanent Dean but he needs support, there is the Tier 1 Engineering initiative set by the Governor but until I see ground broken on a new Engineering building, that is badly needed, and proper program support I will hold back on any judgment of the new President good or bad.
