and Tim Miles is terminated at the end of the year by Nebraska what do you do? Miles is on 6 game losing streak that has taking them from the Top 25 and NCAA bid to potentially no post season. While his career overall record is barely above .500 (393-326 (.547)) his teams progressively get better. Do you can AE and go all in on Miles or will Burman stay the course and see what happens after next season?
If I'm Burman and Miles is fired by Nebraska I go hard after him with a 10 year contract at say 800k/per year with a full buyout of 8MM if he leaves within the first 6 years and after 6 years the buyout goes away completely. I would ask if he would be willing to keep Vandiver on staff and the rest go bye-bye.
