| Current Texans and former Ohio State quarterback C.J. Stroud made a large donation Monday to The Foundation, the NIL collective at OSU, becoming one of the first pro athletes to give in such a targeted way. It’s a full-circle moment for Stroud, who benefited from The Foundation (founded by former Buckeye QB Cardale Jones) while in college. Donations like Stroud’s represent a new path forward for NIL collectives in college sports. Expect more of these contributions elsewhere in the near future. |
