The match- Next up on the wrestling slate is a tough Oregon State squad. No stranger to Wyoming, the Beavers beat the Cowboys 32-7 last year. The Pokes enter the meet at 1-5 after losing in convincing fashion to number #19 South Dakota State. The Beavers enter the contest at 1-2 after defeating the University of Northern Colorado on Friday. The teams have not met a common opponent this year though both participated in the Cliff Keene Las Vegas Invite (UW thirteenth and OSU sixteenth out of 35 teams) and the Reno Tournament of Champions (UW third place and OSU fifth place).
What to expect- Wyoming is simply a better tournament team than they are a dual team. Oregon State will hand the Cowboys their fifth consecutive dual loss as they return a rugged and experienced squad with two ranked wresters and seven NCAA qualifiers.
Who to keep an eye on: Drew Templeman- Does he have the ability to make an NCAA run at #133? This match is an indicator.
