The PGA stop in New Orleans has been good to David. He always makes the cut and does well at TPC Louisiana. Today was no exception. The PGA stop in New Orleans is the only "team" tournament on the tour where players are in teams of two, on Rounds 1 and 3 they play "best hole" - the player with the best score on each hole counts towards the team score. On rounds 2 and 4 it is "alternating shot", where they both play the same ball, alternating shots. David teamed up with Seamus Power from Ireland and they were in 21st place, going in to the final round. With 3 holes to go they were in 3rd, just 2 shots off the lead. Too bad they could not continue their run they ended with a bogey-bogey-birdie and ended up 5th. Each of them walked off with $165,000, not bad for a weekend in Nawlins.

David has been struggling of late - I hope this is a turn around event for him and he goes on another good run for the rest of the year.
