Volleyball team beat UNLV on Saturday in three sets to bring their conference record to 13-4, with the 13 conference wins being the most in the program’s history. On Tuesday, 11/24, at 6:30 p.m., the seniors (Kayla Henderson, Bridget Shanahan, & Allison Waldvogel) will play their final match against CSU who is ranked 13th.

Cowgirl basketball lost to St. Mary’s 64-70 on Friday night. Game started out in favor of UW, but SM’s size (bulk) and experience were keys to their win. Marquelle Dent got hammered during the game, hitting the floor hard twice. Hoping there’s no concussion. Marquelle had the high score with 21; Liv Roberts had 14. Gomez had a career high shooting 18. I was glad to see that even though she started missing some shots at one point, she kept at it and didn’t appear rattled by the missed shots. Jordan Kelley played tough D with 10 rebounds (8 D) and Bailee Cotton had 7. Lots of traveling calls in the game, some warranted, some not IMO. It was pretty annoying.
