Cowboy Football Offers Fresno (Cali.) Area Athlete

Wyoming continues to focus some of their recruiting efforts on versatile, athletic players on the gridiron and offered skill position player Jevon Bigelow last week.

The 6-foot-2 and 195 pound prospect plays at Central East High School in Fresno (Cali.) and mainly at running back, while the ability to be looked at multiple positions on the college level.

Bigelow has two offers to-date with the offer from Wyoming and MW conference rival UNLV. He has yet to make an official visit and hopes to visit Laramie in the near future.

The 2018 prospect is multi-dimensional while playing in the offensive backfield, wide receiver, defensive back, and returning kicks.

This season in six games, Bigelow has accumulated 691 yards rushing and 7 touchdowns, 5 receptions for 46 yards, and averaging 29.8 yards on kickoff returns.

Bigelow has played wide receiver as a junior or sophomore and registered 21 and 36 catches, respectively, over the last two seasons.

The California product has good speed and ability to make defenders miss in the open field. He participated in track in the 100 or 200 meters, triple and long jump competitions, an example of his athleticism potentially transferring well onto the college football level.

His high school team in the Grizzlies is coached by Kyle Biggs and finished 11-2 in 2016.

Bigelow ran the 100 meters in 12.49 and 24.9 in the 200 meters, while a 4.5 forty-yard dash.
