A 45-year supporter of Wyoming Cowboy athletics entered the transfer portal Monday, citing a desire to see a winning program before he dies, but uncertain if there will be any suitors looking for his services. The fan, who became interested in Cowboy athletics as a teenager, finally threw in the towel and looks forward to pursuing more worthwhile experiences.

The supporter also wrote one of those bull$hit thanks/departure letters, rambling on about how God told him he should leave, while also adding some platitudes about special memories and how great the people are, and a convincing sentence about how he didn't take the decision lightly. "I just want to begin by saying how grateful I am for my time here at Wyoming," the fan wrote on Instagram. "From the moment I arrived, I had no idea the place would be run so poorly by a string of career laggards at the President/Trustee and administrative level. They successfully fooled me for a few decades--especially that bit about the HAPC and practice facility taking us to a more competitive level, and ok, the AA remodel, and....ok, Alan Edwards, and maybe even how Craig Bohl was as great as Bear Bryant, but eventually I caught on to the scam. If Wyoming wasn't such a unique and special place I would have found someplace else to go to school and root for."

The average Wyoming fan enters the portal without any clear or decent options for a new team to root for, and one that damn sure won't be giving him money. "I know that", he said, "But I just figure it's better than literally watching my money get pi$$ed away on more 3-9 seasons than 9-3 seasons. The way I figure it, there's any number of non-descript D1 schools who go to the NCAA tournament more often than we do."

"But I do love all that psychological bull$hit analogy stuff Wicks throws out there after every loss. Might make my decision tough."

The average Wyoming Fan has until April 22nd to find a basketball school and all, and April 25 for football.
