I heard today that UW is asking the Wyoming legislature for 1.5 million to cover a short fall due to an NIL lawsuit. First I’ve heard of this lawsuit paying former athletes.
It didn’t sound like this went over very well, including Representative Bear (leader of the Wyoming Freedom Caucus) asking of the ramifications if UW didn’t pay the 1.5 million.
Anyone on the board have any inside information about this?
