Sawvel Addresses Waylee and Harsh’s Exits: Not Caught Off Guard

Jay Sawvel revealed that one more player might enter the transfer portal, but said the situation is related to a family illness.

What would you do if…

You had 20 Millions Dollars? How would you donate to NIL and with what stipulations?
Me:
1. I would let UW know I’m not donating until there’s new leadership in Athletics department. And I mean from top down! Even if that meant buying out Contracts.
2. I would let BOT know to hire a President with a pulse and who cares about Athletics. A guy/gal who actually engages with Athletics, shows up to games and knows how to use social media.
3. I would donate 10M to Men’s Basketball, 7M to Football and 1M each to Women's BBall, Volleyball and Wrestling.

Oh to be wealthy!! Let’s hear it!

Our Sugar Daddy's name is Reid Rasner.

Dear Reid,

Instead of buying Tik Tok, you need to fund the UW collective. You wear a friggin UW logo shirt on your website, reidrasner.com. Want to beat John Barrasso? Fund our collective. We need players just like you need votes to get over the top and get that gig in Washington. Why not? We love you Reid. We dont care if you are leeetle radical. Or a MAGA feller. We just want players.

Signed, UW fans

Average Wyoming Fan Enters Portal

A 45-year supporter of Wyoming Cowboy athletics entered the transfer portal Monday, citing a desire to see a winning program before he dies, but uncertain if there will be any suitors looking for his services. The fan, who became interested in Cowboy athletics as a teenager, finally threw in the towel and looks forward to pursuing more worthwhile experiences.

The supporter also wrote one of those bull$hit thanks/departure letters, rambling on about how God told him he should leave, while also adding some platitudes about special memories and how great the people are, and a convincing sentence about how he didn't take the decision lightly. "I just want to begin by saying how grateful I am for my time here at Wyoming," the fan wrote on Instagram. "From the moment I arrived, I had no idea the place would be run so poorly by a string of career laggards at the President/Trustee and administrative level. They successfully fooled me for a few decades--especially that bit about the HAPC and practice facility taking us to a more competitive level, and ok, the AA remodel, and....ok, Alan Edwards, and maybe even how Craig Bohl was as great as Bear Bryant, but eventually I caught on to the scam. If Wyoming wasn't such a unique and special place I would have found someplace else to go to school and root for."

The average Wyoming fan enters the portal without any clear or decent options for a new team to root for, and one that damn sure won't be giving him money. "I know that", he said, "But I just figure it's better than literally watching my money get pi$$ed away on more 3-9 seasons than 9-3 seasons. The way I figure it, there's any number of non-descript D1 schools who go to the NCAA tournament more often than we do."

"But I do love all that psychological bull$hit analogy stuff Wicks throws out there after every loss. Might make my decision tough."

The average Wyoming Fan has until April 22nd to find a basketball school and all, and April 25 for football.
