It is being written that 4 MWC schools will be joining OSU and WSU in the PAC, and those schools are: Boise State, San Diego State, Fresno State and CSU. The reports are that it could be announced as early as Thursday.
I’ve attended Cowboy football games in Laramie for 60 years. I’ve seen the Pokes play a lot of great games and a lot of shitty games. However, I always felt good about and excited for the next game.
I’ve never had the “dread” feeling I have for the game against BYU this week. This will hopefully be the last time we play these arrogant SOBs and you know they will want to clobber their hated rival if they can.
This comes from the Monty show, but evidently the offer was that San Diego State would come in at a half share and would not make any money off of the new TV deal that the Big12 signed. Monty feels that it would be better if SDSU had signed because they would have gotten about $13 million. I am sure that the Big12 wanted the San Diego market and wanted it on the cheap. I bet that SDSU thinks that they will get more in the long run from a new TV deal for the MWC from Fox and CBS. But an interesting story just the same.
