On the SDSU-CSU game the announcers just talked about the top 3 teams that have shots to the NCAA from the MWC and they had SDSU, CSU and Boise State.....and then they mentioned "Wyoming State".......good grief. The color guy (Pete Gillen), used to be the head coach at Xavier Univ., which is located in Cincinnati, and Pete said that he tried to schedule "Wyoming State", but he "didn't want to play them there (in Laramie)..." so he was never able to schedule them.
Dick Enberg recently told Pete Gillen that if Wyoming could get in to the NCAA's, Wyoming could make some noise...so we have some people that have noticed us. We need to get Larry back and get hot.... We beat CSU twice and beat Boise State the only time that we have faced them. I would think that should count for something.
