Wyoming offered two sought after 2020 prospects from California in defensive end/tight end combo athletes Michael Ambagtsheer (San Diego) and Edward Ta'amilo (Murrieta) this week. Both are receiving solid recruiting interest across the country.
Ambagtsheer has already racked up 14 known offers, while Ta'amilo has offers from the Cowboys, Kansas State, and Washington State.
Ambagtsheer, a 6-foot-5 and 245 prospect has eye opening talent and a big frame that looks to translate good over to the college game. UW Co-Defensive Coordinator A.J Cooper is his main recruiter, along with offers from Utah,Boston College, Fresno State, San Diego State, UNLV, Utah State, and San Jose State, among others.
The St. Augustine High School player has started since his freshman season, while also manning the offensive tackle position during his initial year.
"Thank you Coach (A.J.) Cooper for the offer to play football at The University of Wyoming," he tweeted this week.
Rivals.com rated Ambagtsheer a 3-star prospect, after he caught 19 passes for 473 yards and six touchdowns, and at defensive end with 47 tackles, eight TFL, 4.5 quarterback sacks and multiple pass break-ups in 2018.
Ta'amilo, a 6-foot-3 and 230 pound player received a three-star rating from Rivals.com and his athletic ability to play both sides of the ball has caught attention from the two PAC-12 schools, along with UW assistant A.J. Cooper who is leading the Cowboy recruitment for his services.

The Vista Murrieta High School prospect is a top weight thrower in his region in track and field with discuss and shot put.
Ta’amilo caught four passes for 116 yards and two touchdowns, and on the defensive side of the ball registering four tackles, one quarterback sack and two quarterback hurries in 2018.
