Pokes finished the season with another very lopsided loss….got absolutely spanked by a fair but far from great Beaver squad.
Where were Wyoming’s big guns? Volk and Novak didn’t wrestle…why?
Looks like the Pokes had a couple wrestlers competing out of their weight class and the kid who stood in for Volk is a raw freshman (who got pinned) that doesn’t even rate bio information (other than he is from Gillette).
Ducca got his ass handed to him at 184.
We also find ourselves once again in dire, dire, dire need of a heavyweight. That weight class again a huge liability for this team.
Just not a great last quarter of the season and appears nobody is really on fire heading into the B12 championships.
Really tough to see schools like Arkansas Little Rock and Campbell with programs light years ahead of Wyoming.
