Expectations is still undefeated when it come UW athletics. Its most recent victim: Cowboy basketball. Doesn’t matter the sport - football, women’s basketball, volleyball, wrestling - hell it even seeps into our individual sports.
Watching this team last night is befuddling. Maldo looks like a freshman, Thompson got abused on defense and on the boards. A sixth year senior couldn’t understand the pick and roll. I agree with Jackal in that there will be a huge turnover next year. For some reason this team doesn’t work without Ike. Speaking of Ike I noticed he was back in the walking boot.
I’m highly disappointed in this team. I’m still a Linder advocate and trust that he can right the ship. But I’m righting off this year.
