I understand that this is not the place to be political and forgive me if this has been addressed in here already, but legislation has been proposed in our state legislature to cut state funding for school activities by 50%. I don’t think I have to tell you what a dramatic affect this will have on Wyoming high school and middle school activities, not just athletics, but all activities. Being ardent supporters of athletics and probably activities in general, I would encourage you all to take a look at the wording of the bill and decide where you want the direction of our Wyoming school activities to go. HB 89 If you click on the "Fiscal Notes" tab, you'll see where it cuts funding for activities by 50%.
