Wyoming looks in the early mix for a rangy, fast wide receiver from Albuquerque in Connor O'Toole, a 6-foot-4 and 210 pound prospect. The La Cueva High School product visited Laramie on the weekend of April 19th during the Pokes spring practices.

On top of the offer from the Cowboys, he has other scholarship opportunities currently with New Mexico, Baylor, Colorado, Washington State and Northern Arizona.

The 2020 prospect led his high school team to the Class 6A state title last December. He paid an unofficial to Baylor, along with his official trip to the high plains. His main recruiter at UW is assistant coach Gordie Haug.

O'Toole recently showed his speed by winning the 100-meter dash at Metro Championships with a 10.78 seconds. He also participates as a hurdler and long jumper in track.

"Beyond grateful to receive an offer to the University of Wyoming," tweeted O'Toole. "Thank you to Coach Haug and the entire staff."

O'Toole is a First Team All-State, Offensive District Player-of-Year, First Team All-District, First Team All-Metro, District All-Academic and Offensive Team MVP for the Bears. Timed a 4.69 40-yard dash.
