I am dead serious and not being rhetorical. When was the last time you could remember when Bohl, flat out out coached, out smarted, out chess moved an opponent?
We only win when we are just the superior team or the other team turns the ball over. We never expose the other team's weakness unless they are just a team that cant defend the run. . We never exploit a team's tendency to over run the play with screens or reverses. We just run screens and reverses just to mix it up from time to time. I don't feel there is ever a purpose. We do what we do and don't care about the opponent. Talk about a poor way of doing things when you don't always have the most talent on the field.
Bohl gets out coached multiple times in a season and we lose to teams we should probably beat. Rocky Long out foxed us last year as the DC of New Mexico. Even lowly UCONN had a great game plan to keep Muma from being effective. Howdy Doody made us look like absolute fools in the second half. Bohl and his stubbornness and lack of imagination in game costs us every year multiple times. Nothing we can do about it, at this point, save firing Bohl. But it is a frustrating observation about this team and Bohl in general.
