Last week we lost a great Wyoming fan who was a mainstay at Cowboy and Cowgirl games for many, many years. At the funeral yesterday, Coach Shyatt and his his staff, Coach Legerski, Coach Bohl and I'm sure many members of their staffs who I didn't see were all part of the standing room only crowd.
It was remarkable to me that the basketball staffs would take the time to come over in the midst of their conference seasons, and that Coach Bohl took the time to come during such a busy recruiting period. It is a testament to the kind of men we have leading the major sports in Laramie right now.
And as a note, funerals that end with the crowd singing 'Ragtime Cowboy Joe' are almost always better than other funerals.
