The Boomerang says that the JAC (joint appropriations committee) is "receptive" to the proposed 74 million dollar renovation of the west side of War and a new 50 meter swimming pool. It was mentioned that the whole lower west side would be torn up and rebuilt. Something about new premium seating and how we'll make more money off it. It sounds like chair back seats are in the works and that'll probably reduce the capacity in the lower West and people are liable to get screwed over similar to the AA reseating.
No one wants to donate to a pool project alone and that is disappointing to Tom Burman. There are so many damn pools in this town.
