UW WBB has made two appearances in the NCAA tournament with an all time record of 0-2. Zero games played in Laramie. The Cowgirls have made 10 appearances in the WNIT with an all record WNIT of 19-9. Many of these games played in Laramie. 2007 they won the WNIT championship.
History proves that in any given year there are only 8-10 teams that can win the NCAA tournament. The lowest seed to ever win it was a #3. That has happen twice in its history.
