One of my favorite listens is to the podcast, "The Washed-Up Walk-Ons," which is done by three former Iowa football players who all came in as walk-ons and left as starters/special teams standouts from 2014-17. On the episode released today, they interview new Wyoming offensive coordinator Tim Polasek. It's a good listen if you are trying to figure out the new guy.
He talks a lot about the "race to maturity," and the fact his time at Iowa and Wyoming involves time during recruiting when if they don't hear about a kid wanting to learn from a mentor, or who he can't wait to get on campus and increase his skills, it is a red flag.
End of the day - the guy is a football junky. I think it is going to be a good fit.
