Cowboys tied for 17th place along with Minnesota and Wisconsin (different than the UW release that stated they were tied for 18th with North Carolina).

** Edited post with the correct link!!!!

I won't deny that UW did very well, but they also had the opportunity to do better given that Colgan won only a single match, Bryce was seconds away from a National Championship, and it was completely in the realm of the possible for Turner to secure at least one win and even for Ashworth to walk away with another. Just a brutal three days with every wrestler laser focused.

The Cowboy program has it's work cut out for it going forward in the B12 with OSU continuing as a strong program, Northern Iowa now in the conference, SDSU continuing to grow and demonstrate they can field individual National Champions, and Fresno once again in the mix (if I heard correctly, there are more than 700 high schools in CA with wrestling programs which is probably a big reason Fresno previously fielded a very strong program that dominated Wyoming).

Obviously looking forward to what Bridges can do the next several years and I think Turner has the potential to be special as well. Also looking forward to see what the current batch of redshirts do next year.
