UW Alumni Association Announces Men’s Basketball Membership Appreciation Day
The University of Wyoming Alumni Association would like to thank its members by hosting a Membership Appreciation Day before the men’s Border War basketball home game against Colorado State on February 9. The event will take place in the Alumni Center in the Marian H. Rochelle Gateway Center, 222 S. 22nd St., Laramie, WY.
“We are excited to introduce our first-ever Membership Appreciation Reception prior to a Cowboys basketball game. Our members are the cornerstone for our alumni engagement activities, and have been for nearly 125 years. This reception allows us the opportunity to express our sincere gratitude to the individuals who have been vital to the Association’s success. We invite our members to come enjoy the reception and take advantage of the ticket discount offered by UW Athletics,” says Keener Fry, UWAA Executive Director.
On February 9, the Alumni Association will have light breakfast items available from 10:30AM to 11:30AM. Members of the Alumni Association will receive a free drink at the cash bar, and will be eligible for a 20% discount for tickets to the Men’s basketball game. Contact the UWAA to RSVP, and to receive a promo code for the ticket discount. Discounted tickets must be purchased online prior to tip-off.
