Seems to be a good spot for him. Very close to home obviously and a pretty decent league (CAA).
JMU is in a similar position as UW. They just hired a new coach after firing Louis Rowe who was fired after 4 years and finishing 2-16, 9-23 this past year (sound familiar?).
