Just taking a look here in the early part of the conference season, it is obvious that there are some very good men's bb coaches within the conference. Frankly speaking overall I would put the MWC up against a number of other conferences and I think that the conference would rank very well.

In the upper half of the conference are 6 very impressive coaches imo.

Boise State - Leon Rice
Utah State - Craig Smith
CSU - Niko Medved
SDSU - Brian Dutcher
Nevada - Steve Alford
Wyoming - Jeff Linder

There are acouple of coaches in the MWC that had impressive records before they came to their respective schools and I would be surprised if they were not on the hot seat. Their teams are in the lower portion of the conference:

New Mexico - Dr. Paul Weir
UNLV - Thomas Otzelberger

The MWC I would hope would get at least 2 invites to the Big Dance and frankly the conference probably will justify at least 3 imo.
