I am not one for moral victories but the good thing about this basketball team is that we are in these games down to the bitter end. It's not like we are getting hammered when we lose, we just aren't finding a way to pull the game out. The Pokes are going to have to figure out ways to get a couple of stops, make big free throws, and avoid having long scoring droughts especially in the 2nd half. Larry Shyatt's teams have pretty much played close games here, win or lose. When you don't have the overall talent level of some of the teams you play, you can still outwork them and do those little things that pull these close games in your favor. We have done it before and I think we still can. Is there any team in our conference that we cannot beat? Nope. We are going to have to clean up our act a little to get it done.
