The basketball team is coming into some big games in the next few weeks. My take is that when it is all said and done, the Pokes will be one of the top teams going into the MWC tournament and will be heading to the NCAA's afterwards. I really looking forward to the ride.
With football recruiting coming into the home stretch there is going to be a lot of activity within the next few weeks. There are only about 8 or 9 scholarships remaining to give out and Wyoming is in on some really good athletes. I am hoping that maybe with the new DB coach that we might be able to snag an outstanding player that we wouldn't have otherwise. But just the same if a few of these recruiting battles tip our way, this will be an outstanding class. Speaking of recruiting, I was wondering if Wyoming will have any recruits on campus this coming weekend, or do the campus visits start up next weekend?
With the available scholarships I am hoping that Wyoming goes after these positions:
1.) Linebacker - I think that we need at least one additional here, acouple would be fine.
2.) Defensive Line - It would be great to get a DT that could be a possible contributor next season.
3.) Offensive Line - I think that we need at least one more OT.
4.) Defensive Backs - Never can have too many talented DB's.
