We get no points from the bench, and three of our starters shoot in the 30 to 40% range and we get out rebounded. The way that Coach Shyatt runs his defense we pretty well give up the offensive rebounding part of the game and if you shoot in the 30 to 40% range you are about guaranteed to lose. As Coach Shyatt said, he is not insane, but certainly something has to change. What is so gut wrenching is watching the Cowboy's go into another late season slump. The margin of error is very small for this team. As I said earlier there still is a lot to play for and I do feel that the Pokes are very capable of going on a late season run, but things have to change around and change around soon. It looks like our only chance of an NCAA bid is to win the tournament and barring that hopefully the Cowboys will get an NIT bid.
But we have another home game and I think that is really important that we all show up and support our seniors on their last regular season home game of their careers and let them know that we appreciate all that they have done to make this university proud.
