So...What Will This Recruiting Class Do?

I have to say, this recruiting class seems to be....ok. Baker, Garrett, Okwoli, Webb and Windsor pop out as solid recruits. This class isn't average for sure... I like Bohl's strategy of offering higher-tiered athletes early, and then seeing how it shakes out....not waiting on them but not ignoring them either. IMO, Coach Bohl is bringing in recruiting classes that are some of the best in my lifetime. Now what happens?

A question: Before social media came along, how many top recruits last-minute bagged on signing with UW that we never knew about?

While this class for me was disappointingly light on JC's, it shows Bohl is betting his future on the patience of Wyoming fans and is staying committed to a long-term plan of building his type of foundation. Give it up for him: You have to like his commitment to his philosophy, and I'm rooting for him. For his sake though, his vision needs to give fans hope with some success next season. We need five wins next year, and anything less justifiably invites questions about his vision.

We're banking a lot on next year: Will this recruiting class and returning players provide for an improved defense? I was really hoping to see more immediate impact players. I don't see the offense as big an issue--just give us some depth at running back and a QB who can improve as the season goes.
To me, this recruiting class says Bohl is betting a lot on next year; that the Pokes will be turning a corner...
