Lack of physicality, lack of a point guard, lack of a reliable 3rd scoring option, so many turnovers--all season....can't help but think when you infrequently play on a big stage, it's pretty tough to come out with the kind of poise needed to play on that stage. Linder did a magicians job coaching an understaffed team, but I think everybody saw tonight the steps the program has to take to take the next step. Had we a point guard who could handle the ball, we could have won this game.
Indiana essentially played a home game, we turned the ball over 1000 times tonight, had no 3-point threat tonight, and Indiana had to pad the lead with free throws to get a eight point win. They were nothing special tonight, and we gave them a good fight despite all our f*ckups. Hope we can get a special point guard and another big scoring threat for next year.
