That GoWyoGo carry over the round table discussion into basketball season. Ian, what is the feasibility of doing so? I understand it would be bit more onerous with multiple games a week and it does not help that the season coincides with the Holidays......but I can say I personally enjoyed the articles and appreciated the respective members devoting their time to do it.
With that, perhaps the discussion could garner opinion on the performance of the team over the previous week and a prognostication of the week to come with it still being done only once a week. Now, I hate to volunteer others' time by recommending potential candidates....but I will do it anyway:
1) Cup- I very much appreciate his banter and delight in the occasional over the top conversation that forces me to figure the square root of an absolute, subtract a few superlatives, and then multiply by maybe to arrive at what I think is the true state of the topic.....and very much appreciate his knowledge and honest opinions.
2) Nowhere Poke- Perfect counter-balance to some of the typical message board hyperbole to which some of us our guilty. Appreciate his b-ball knowledge and the depth and breadth of his perspective....all grounded with unbridled and absolute realism. Example- Reference his thoughts on how the football season would shape....I think he was damn close.
3/4) Aggie and Tracy- Appreciated their perspective and comments during the football round-tables, appreciate their optimism and unwavering support of the programs, but also appreciate their realistic outlooks.
I am confident there are other good candidates that possess the requisite knowledge and perspective (Ian, you are one), but will leave it at this....primarily because my four year old daughter just poured cereal all over the floor and maybe I should do something about that.
The panel kept it interesting even as the football season got out of hand in a bad way......I think the basketball team will realize more success though will see some serious ups and downs.....should make for some good discussion. Thoughts?
