It has been a challenging season for Hankerson, but when Cowboys needed it the most he had best game of his career. He provided big lift early, hitting 3 points en route to career-best 16.

The man's confidence was shaken in mid-season with shooting slump.

Cowboys never gave up on him and he responded.

Remember this about Hankerson: He wanted to be a Cowboy.
While some with scholarships quit on the team, Hankerson paid his way through school this year, and never whinned.

He made a stupid mistake last year and was suspended. He wanted to come back for a senior season and he was told he could come back but there would be no scholarship.

Very proud of the young man and his commitment.

Very proud of the young man and his ability to take responsibility for his missteps.

Very proud that he is a Cowboy and will be a Cowboy For Life.
