Northern Iowa is an very good team that centers around their big man, Seth Tuttle. They have quick athletic guards and go about 9 deep, however their next leading scorer is a basically a 3 way tie between 3 other players at only 7 points a game. Nearly every thing goes through the post similar to the Pokes. Tuttle is a very good passer for a big man in fact he leads the team in assists. Nearly every player on the team is a 3 point threat. While solid offensively, their best trait is a smothering defense sorta like the Cowboys.

But its pretty easy really, slow down Tuttle and you should have a shot at stopping this team. I love the idea of Nance versus Tuttle. Should be the best head to head match up that Nance has had defensively this season. This is a disciplined tough team but not a team that will necessarily "out-athlete" the Pokes. Still Adams will have to continue his amazing late season play and Cook will need to battle on the boards and help out Nance. I think this is a winnable game however they will have to play their best ball of the season....obviously. We cant afford to go through long shooting slumps against this team and we also have to make sure Nance does not get into foul trouble or.........we will be in trouble. Many prognosticators are predicting a low scoring game, however I would not be shocked if this game got into the 60s. Go Pokes!!!!!
