#44 Devin McKenna 6-2, 225, SR, LB, Millstone, N.J.
This young man transferred and walked-on to the UW football program under Christensen. For some reason he left the program (maybe he is another Chad Reese?) and I figured that was the end of his involvement. But low and behold I see his name on the spring roster for this year. This actually makes me feel good as this young man can possibly provide some really needed depth. I remember reading his story, he was an all-state player in New Jersey and went to a small school in CT. for some reason out of H.S., but came out here a few years ago. I remember seeing him play in some of the spring scrimmages a few years ago and thinking, wow, this kid can play. He runs well and hits hard, and I was wondering why he didn't play. With the lack of depth at the LB positions, this young man just might be a big help this year.
