What a depressing weekend in UW sports-
UW wrestling has fallen off a bit the last two years......poor tourney performance and losing another title to NDSU is disappointing to say the least. And, unless Cox surprises in the NCAAs, I really don't think he ever realized his potential.
Basketball team gives UNM there first win in eight games? Is that correct? I thought only our football did team that. Another poor ending to regular season play and probably need a semi-miracle to get to the NIT. Remember when we were cussing those who picked the Pokes to finish 6th and how ridiculous that seemed at one point in the season?
Women b-ball spanked at home on senior night....hell, guess even the women's soccer team needed to jump on this wagon.
One thing is for sure and just does not seem to change.........success is awfully hard to come by at the old UW.......and is always very fleeting when it does.
