Nick Popplewell is the kinda dopey marketing assistant AD who is off to Ft. Collins in a most unfortunate way. Recently, DC Poke listed some pics of early '70s teams and personnel. If you look at the all-america picture with Bob Jacobs (who I saw kick an 80 yard punt at the War) you will see a guard listed from Colorado named Don Popplewell.
