With the demise of the capital construction requests for the pool and War West Stands renovations, are there any contingency plans to at least address some of the immediate problems (lower stand bathrooms and pool)? Like Tom L. mentioned in a previous post, I fear that the state budget won't support even a modest request any time soon.
Maybe the state of the facilities was overblown to attract more legislative sympathy - and to the extent they were, UW needs to re-address the issue - but I do know that the pool and West stands are not in great shape.
I dream of a day where we have cantilevered roofs on the East and West stands like they have at Washington - but first things first.
