Just heard this on the Utah St. vs Nevada game telecast.
I guess he was never able to really get it going in Albuquerque. He has some good athletes on that team, they just were not able to put it in the basket enough. Kind of reminds me of teams that the Pokes have had in the past in that we had good athletes but that doesn't necessarily equate to good basketball players always. I wonder what this will do to the Lobo basketball program? I would imagine it will set them back a year or so, but if they find the right coach, the Pit while never being an easy place to play for opposing teams, could get to be a really tough place to play for opposing teams again.
